NSCAA All-Mid-Atlantic Region Teams

Kansas City, Mo. - GW women's soccer senior MacKenzie Cowley has been named to the NSCAA All-Mid-Atlantic Region Third Team.

An Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team selection, Cowley tallied a career-high 11 goals in 2016 while adding an assist for a team-best 23 points. The forward scored in each of GW's first six contests of the season, including the game-winner against No. 17 Arkansas on Sept. 4, earning her A-10 Offensive Player of the Week and TopDrawerSoccer.com weekly honors. Her four game-winning goals this season led GW and tied for third in the league.

The distinction marks the first career NSCAA All-Region honor for Cowley.
