
GW Women's Soccer to Host Spring ID Camp

WASHINGTON - The George Washington women's soccer team will host a Spring ID Clinic on May 1, for players in grades 8-12 at the GW Soccer Field on the Mount Vernon Campus.
GW women's soccer head coach Sarah Barnes and assistant coaches Erin Ridley and Jeremy Williams will lead the elite one-day clinic. Participants will undergo the types of training sessions experienced by the Colonials while engaging with the coaching staff in every session, offering exposure to a challenging training experience and various coaching styles.
Check-in will be from 11:30-11:55 a.m. and camp introductions will begin at 12 p.m., immediately followed by a warm-up, technical session and small-sided games. A break between field sessions will include a question-and-answer session with student-athletes on the GW women's soccer team before returning for an 11-v-11 game. Cool down and recovery will conclude the clinic at 5 p.m. A snack will be provided during the break
Cost to participate is $130, and campers are asked to bring soccer-related equipment as well as a water bottle.
