GW Men's Track Competes at Maryland Invite

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The George Washington men's outdoor track team recorded four top-10 finishes across two events at the Maryland Invitational at the Kehoe Track Facility on Saturday.
GW's best event was the 3000-meter run where it recorded a trio of top-10 finishes. Junior John-Louis Pane finished sixth overall out of 31 competitors with a time of 9:03.98.
Sophomore Seamus Roddy came in eighth with a mark of 9:08.84 while freshman Charles Arnold was close behind, placing 10th overall (9:15.87).
Freshman Carter Day recorded GW's best 800-meter time of the outdoor season with a fifth place finish out of 31 competitors in 1:58.15. Freshman Luke Dublirer won his heat and came in 11th overall in 2:01.61.
Junior Ryan Tucker was GW's top performer in the 1,500-meter run, finishing fourth in his heat and 12th overall out of 21 competitors in 4:06.95.
GW will return to action at the VerKlasse Invitational, April 3-4, in High Point, North Carolina.
