Sophomore Christian Lawal netted a pair of second-half goals to lift GW to a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Davidson on Saturday evening in the Atlantic 10 opener. The Colonials trailed 1-0 at halftime but rallied for the victory via Lawal's first career multi-goal game. The sophomore from Pembury, England, scored the equalizer in the 56th minute, then struck again just over 12 minutes later of the eventual game-winner. GW's win snapped the Wildcats' school-record 16-game home unbeaten streak which dated to October 2013. Lawal was also named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week for his efforts.
