Competing in her first-ever collegiate competition, Winstanley led the Colonials to a first-place finish at Maryland's Beauty & the Beast Meet by winning the all-around championship with an overall score of 39.00.
Her evening was highlighted by a second-place finish on uneven bars (9.825) along with scores of 9.75 on vault, 9.675 on balance beam and 9.75 on floor exercise.
As a team, GW swept the all-around podium, claimed individual titles on the vault and floor exercise and posted the highest team score on balance beam.
The Colonials defeated former East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) rivals Maryland and West Virginia by scoring 194.325, garnering a national ranking of No. 19.
