The George Washington volleyball team concluded its most successful season since 2000 and reached its first Atlantic 10 Championship match since 2002 this past weekend at the Atlantic 10 Championship in Dayton, Ohio.
The Colonials conclude the 2014 season with an overall record of 22-8, the most wins, including an 11-3 mark in A-10 conference matches, since 2000.
Sophomore Chidima Osuchukwu and senior Kelsey Newman were each named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team prior to the tournament while Osuchuwku was joined by junior Maddy Doyle and sophomore Loren Williams on the All-Championship team, the first time the Colonials have had three players selected since 2000.
