Townsend provided two game-winning hits and batted .429 with two RBIs in four games last week as the Colonials improved to 5-1 in the Atlantic 10. In Friday's game against Temple, Townsend won it for the Colonials in the bottom of the ninth with an infield single, allowing the winning run to come around to score on an error, and sending GW to a 4-3 come-from-behind victory. He provided heroics again in Saturday's rubber match, providing GW's only run with a RBI triple in the sixth inning.
