Event: Atlantic 10 Championships
The George Washington women's rowing team continued its strongest season in recent memory with a second-place finish at the Atlantic 10 Championship on the Cooper River in Pennsauken, N.J., on Saturday. The Colonials secured their best finish at the A-10 Championship since 2003 with a second-place finish in the Varsity 8 and fourth-place finishes in the JV8 and Varsity 4. Head coach Eric Carcich was named A-10 Coach of the Year at the conclusion of the event, the first GW coach to receive the honor since Steve Peterson in 2002.
