
Women's Soccer Announces 2011 Spring Matches

WASHINGTON, DC --The George Washinton University women's soccer team has announced its 2011 spring schedule which includes many local universities, including 2010 opponents, American, Loyola (MD) and George Mason.
GW will kick off at the Mount Vernon Athletic Complex with a duo of 70-minute contests against local rival American and NCAA Tournament participant James Madison on March 27th, 2011. Game times are at 11am and 2pm for the Colonials.
The team goes on the road for their remaining four dates of competition including back-to-back days of play on Saturday and Sunday, April 2 and 3. On April 2, GW will play multiple Maryland teams in the Naval Academy 7-a-side Tournament where they will face Towson, St. Mary's and CCBC Essex in the preliminary rounds. The Colonials will then head to Baltimore to take on Loyola (MD) at noon on April 3.
On Sunday, April 10, the Colonials will return to Baltimore to play Towson at 11am. GW will conclude their spring 2011 schedule in Fairfax, VA, against George Mason with a 3:30pm kick-off against the Patriots.
