Washington, DC - The George Washington University Women's Soccer Team is accepting registrants for its 2011 Winter Soccer Clinic located on the Mt. Vernon Campus of George Washington University.
The GW Winter Clinic will be held Sunday, January 30th from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. and is for female soccer players ages 14 and older. Registration is open to the first 50 players and the cost of the clinic is $100 per participant. A team discount is also being offered at $85 per player with 6 or more players from one team necessary to qualify. Participants will also receive a free GW soccer T-shirt.
Sessions will include training in the areas of passing and receiving, finishing, attacking and group tactics. Goalkeeper training will also be held for all goalkeepers age 14 and older. Each goalkeeper will receive training in the areas on footwork and handling, advanced shot stopping, dealing with crosses and distribution. All sessions will be conducted by George Washington University coaching staff.
All George Washington University camps/clinics are open to any and all entrants, and are only limited by the number, age, grade level, or gender described.
