
Tyner Named to CWPA All-South Second Team

LEWISBURG, PA - George Washington men's water polo freshman Daniel Tyner was voted to the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) All-Southern Division Second Team by the league's head coaches it was announced Nov. 19.
A two-time CWPA Southern Division Rookie of the Week selection this fall, Tyner led GW with 92 points and 46 ejections drawn, and finished second on the team in goals (59), assists (33) and steals (34).
Tyner's selection marks the Colonials' seventh All-South Second Team honoree since 2006.
GW posted a 9-20 overall record and placed sixth at the Southern Division Championship in 2010. The Colonials are slated to return 11 of this fall's 12 letterwinners for 2011.
