Colonial of the Week - Katie Zulandt

Katie Zulandt hit a combined .483 in GW's two matches last week to help lead the Colonials to a pair of A-10 sweeps over La Salle and Temple and extend the Colonials' win streak to five straight. The senior co-captain from northern Ohio averaged more than two kills per set for the week and added nine total blocks as the Colonials improved to 17-7, 6-1 in the A-10. Zulandt's efforts have lifted GW into second place in the league standings as the squad enters the home stretch of the season. Zulandt's stats for the week: two matches, six sets, 16 kills, .483 hitting percentage, 9 total blocks (1 solo, 8 assisted) and three digs for 21 total points.
