Zenk became the first person in Atlantic 10 Conference history to be named Most Outstanding Performer three times in a career Saturday at the 2009 Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships in Buffalo, NY. Zenk broke three A-10 Conference records in the 200-yard individual medley (1:48.35), 400-yard individual medley (3:52.17) and 200-yard backstroke (1:45.67). Two other times Zenk posted in the 100-yard freestyle (:45.18) and 200-yard freestyle (1:38.71) broke GW school records. His time in the 400-yard individual medley was a NCAA "B" qualifying time.
