In two weekend games, Smidinger netted a goal and assisted on another in the Colonials' shutout victories.
Smidinger scored the only goal in the victory over St. Bonaventure Friday barely six minutes into the game. Kristen Slack crossed the ball behind the SBU defense to Smidinger for the game-winner. On Sunday, Smidinger recorded an assist with a service in front of the goal for Brittany Eger to score on a header over the Duquesne goalkeeper in the 1-0 victory.
Smidinger's stats for the week: two matches, one goal, seven shots with four on goal and one assist in 180 minutes of play.
