Jessica Adair was named Most Valuable Player of GW's second annual Thanksgiving Classic after averaging 17.0 points on 75 percent shooting in victories over South Alabama and Hartford.
Jessica was 9-of-14 from the field for a game-high 18 points and added six rebounds, three blocks and two assists to lead the Colonials past the Lady Jags and into the title game. Against the Hawks in the championship, Jessica made each of her six field goals en route to a game-high 16 points as GW closed the game with a 7-0 run to come-from-behind 67-65.
Jessica's stats for the week: 2 games, 34 points (17.0), 15-of-20 shooting (.750), 9 rebounds, 3 blocks, 2 assists in 55 minutes.
