FAIRFAX, VA - In the opening game of the 2007 George Mason Tournament, Georgetown (3-1-0) proved too much for George Washington (3-1-0), as the Hoyas rolled past the Colonials by a final of 5-0 late Friday afternoon on the campus of George Mason. The loss ends GW's three-game winning streak, their best start to a season in program history.
In the other match played tonight, Stony Brook was set to face-off against host-school George Mason.
The tournament continues on Sunday, when the Colonials will battle the Patriots, at 2:30 p.m.
