Perez-Segnini was named the adidas DC College Cup MVP and A-10 Co- Player of the Week after scoring the game-winning and Cup-clinching goal in overtime against Howard on Sunday. The 6-2 midfielder broke a 2-2 tie against the Bison with a goal with three seconds left in the second overtime. He also had an assist against Howard for a career-high three points and scored an insurance goal with nine seconds to play in Friday's 2-0 season-opening victory against American. GW is off to a 2-0 start for the first time since 2002 and ranked third in this week's NSCAA Middle Atlantic Regional Top 10.
