Lawrence capped a breakout junior season with the finest scoring performance of her career, dropping in a career-high 23 points in GW's 70-56 loss versus top-seeded North Carolina in the Sweet 16 of the 2007 NCAA Tournament. Lawrence connected on a career-best three 3-pointers in four attempts and was the only Colonials' player to make more than two field goals (8-of-14). The second team All Atlantic-10 selection finished the season with a team-best 13.4 ppg scoring average and will enter her final year 62 points shy of eclipsing the career 1,000-point mark.
