Elliott recorded the first triple-double in the 93-season history of GW Basketball with 17 points, 10 assists and a career-high 12 rebounds in leading GW to a 84-72 victory over Temple Saturday at Smith Center. One of Elliott's 10 assists in that game was the 500th assist of his career.
The triumph over Temple also marked the 83rd GW victory in which Elliott has participated making him the winningest GW player ever....no other Colonial has played in as many GW victories as the senior captain from Brooklyn.
Elliott's stats for the week: 2 games, 26 points on 7-18 FGs (.389), 12-13 free throws (.923), 14 rebounds (3 offensive, 11 defensive), 14 assists, 7 turnovers and 5 steals in 69 total minutes.
