Beck posted consecutive double-doubles and averaged 17 points, 11 assists and five steals as No. 17/15 GW defeated South Dakota State (65-60) and Western Kentucky (80-63) in the GW Thanksgiving Classic. Beck earned Tournament MVP and A-10 Player of the Week honors after having 16 points, 10 assists and four steals against the Jackrabbits Friday, and 18 points, 12 assists and six steals versus the Lady Toppers in Saturday's finale. The 12 assists tied for the seventh most in a single-game in program history. A preseason Wooden Award candidate, Beck leads the A-10 with 7.0 assists per game and is 27 assists shy of breaking Kathy Marshall's 23-year-old career program record of 580.
