Audrey Noonan won the Carnegie Mellon Invitational for the second consecutive season, covering the five-kilometer (3.1 mile) course in 18:28.2. Noonan bested 196 other runners as the Colonials finished third out of 20 teams. Cross Country's next competition is at the Atlantic 10 Championships on Saturday, October 27 at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia, PA. Last season, Noonan ran the fastest time ever for a Colonial at the A-10 Championships in 18:19.20, good for 7th place overall.
