Competing at the Patriot Invitational at George Mason (Nov. 17-19), Zenk won three individual titles. He set a new meet record in the 400-yard individual medley with a winning time of 3:57.73. He also won the 200-yard backstroke (1:47.43) and 200-yard individual medley (1:51.95) events. Zenk also recorded a third place finish in the 100-yard backstroke in 50.71, and anchored the 800 and 400-yard freestyle relays to second and third place finishes respectively.
