Stephani Ellis is an accomplished athletics administrator with more than a decade of leadership experience spanning Division I athletics and professional sports. As the Assistant Athletic Director for Business Development & Revenue Generation at George Washington University, she leads the strategy and execution of sponsorship activation, and fan-experience initiatives that advance the department’s business goals. Stephani collaborates closely with ticketing, marketing, creative services, communications, and campus partners to deliver integrated campaigns that strengthen GW Athletics’ visibility and impact. She also oversees the university’s athletics licensing program, ensuring brand consistency across internal and external stakeholders.
Prior to GW, Stephani served as Assistant General Manager of the Vancouver Canadians, a role in which she directed multimillion-dollar ticket revenue strategies, managed the organization’s game-day fan experience operations, and led digital and social media initiatives that contributed to both brand growth and sponsorship value. Her tenure with the Canadians also included leadership in community relations and digital content development, as well as earlier positions focused on social media management, partnership fulfillment, and sales strategy.
A graduate from California University of Pennsylvania (PennWest California), Stephani was a member of the softball team from 2010 - 2014.  Following her undergraduate degree she completed a Diploma in Sales & Marketing Management from the University of British Columbia.Â
She is a native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and currently resides in North Bethesda, MD.Â
