Ryan Gordon joined the George Washington University athletic department in August 2023. Entering his second year, Gordon serves as a Senior Athletic Operations Associate in which he is responsible for assisting with event management and facility related duties across all athletic campuses. Gordon primarily works closely with GW facilities to ensure that the Smith Center is always kept at a high standard.

Gordon came to GW from Wagner College as an Athletic Facilities & Operations Graduate Assistant where he oversaw the event management responsibilities for the

Field Hockey and Softball programs. In addition, he had a key part in the logistics of the 2022 NEC Field Hockey Tournament.

Prior to Wagner, Gordon graduated from Temple University in May 2022 with a degree in Sport and Recreation Management. During his time as an undergrad, he worked closely within the University of Pennsylvania’s athletic department as an Athletic Operations Manager. While at UPenn, he had the opportunity of working many high profile events such as the 2022 NCAA Men’s Basketball East Regional, the 2022 Penn Relays, the 2022 New Balance Nationals Outdoor and the 2022 Ivy League Baseball Tournament.
