Nicole Snyder joined GW Athletics as the Associate Director of Major Gifts in April 2026. She transitioned to this role after serving as a member of the Donor Relations team within GW’s University Advancement division.

Snyder came to GW from the United States Naval Academy, where she was an integral part of the Development team for the Naval Academy Athletic Association. She managed stewardship, special events, game day hospitality and donor communications. During her tenure, she increased Giving Tuesday revenue, sports-specific giving and served as the liaison for Women for Navy Athletics.

Her professional experience includes roles in athletic development with the University of Maryland’s Terrapin Club, the University of South Florida’s Bulls Varsity Club, and the University of Central Florida’s Knights Hospitality. She also gained professional sports experience through her work in Events & Entertainment with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

A native of Tampa, Fla., Snyder earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida, where she was a member of the Varsity rowing team. She also holds a Master of Public Health from the University of South Florida and is currently completing her Master of Business Administration at GW. She currently resides in Annapolis, Md.
