James Meyer joined GW in October of 2021. He currently oversees sales and ticket operations for all ticketed athletic events as well as concerts and other events held in the Charles E. Smith Center. In 2022, Meyer oversaw the implementation of Ticketmaster as GW’s official ticket partner.

Meyer came to GW from nearby George Mason University where he served as the Director of Sales & Ticket Operations. During his time at George Mason, the Athletic Department experienced record growth in ticket revenue and attendance.

Meyer is a graduate of George Mason University with a degree in Government & Politics. He and his wife Rachael reside in Fairfax, Virginia with their dog, Quincy.
