Billy Colbert

Billy Colbert joined GW in August 2025Â as an Assistant Coach following an extensive career in the youth rowing community. Colbert most recently wa the head coach of Oklahoma City Riversport where he directed the athletic and cultural development of the women's program at all age levels from eighth grade through high school. He previously served as the program's U17 head coach for one year.
Colbert also spent four years as the freshmen boys rowing coach at Saratoga Rowing Association in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and two years as the lead novice rowing coach at Three Rivers Rowing Association in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Colbert returns to the DMV where he graduated Magna Cum Laude from George Mason Unviersity in 2017 with a degree in Management. He served as captain of the Varsity Men's Rowing team during his time in Fairfax.Â
