The Colonials' most powerful server, she appeared in 110 sets as a sophomore in 2009 and scored 52.5 points on a team-high 46 aces and recorded 39 digs and a block ... also added three assists ... appeared in three sets as a freshman in 2008 and recorded a kill in her only attempt at Morgan State on Nov. 4 ... also had a dig against Delaware State on Sept. 12.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Named All-Delta League in 2006 and `07 at Saint Francis H.S. under coach Alynn Wright ... was selected captain of her JV team in 2005 ... the SFHS Troubadours were two-time Varsity League champions in 2006 and `07 and advanced to the semifinals of the state tournament in 2007... won league titles all four years of high school volleyball ... chosen to represent the St. Francis athletic department as a candidate for Student Athlete of the Year in California ... club officer in both the Alzheimer's Awareness club and the National Honor Society ... core leader in school's community service program and valedictorian of her senior class.
