Pateros joined the GW men's water polo staff in the fall of 2023 following his statement year playing for the Buff and Blue as a graduate transfer.Â

All-MAWPC First Team…MAWPC Championship All-Tournament First Team…Impressed after transferring from Long Beach State…Finished second on GW’s all-time single-season goals list with 120 goals…Finished tied for fifth on the all-time single-season points list…Scored three goals, dished one assist and drew six ejections in season opener vs. Princeton (9/3)...Scored six goals in win over Cal Lutheran (9/10)...Posted a game-high eight points vs. Iona (9/11)...Scored six goals with one assist, one steal and two ejections drawn vs. McKendree (9/24)...Scored seven goals vs. Mercyhurst (9/24)...Posted another seven goal performance vs. Fresno Pacific (10/20)...Scored three goals and had three assists in opening round win of MAWPC Championship vs. Johns Hopkins (11/18)...Scored six goals and added one assist, one steal and four ejections drawn in win over Salem to help team to third place finish at MAWPC Championship (11/20).
AT LONG BEACH STATE (2018-2021)
Scored 93 goals across 75 games over three seasons at Long Beach State…Twice helped LBSU to the NCAA Tournament (2018 & 2021)…Scored a career-high 40 goals as a senior in 2021 on way to Gold Coast Conference title and berth in national tournament…Garnered GCC All-Tournament Team honors as a rookie in 2018 after helping LBSU earn title…Named to GCC All-Academic Team as a junior and senior…Earned a Finance degree.

Helped Greek National Team to title at 2018 Youth World Championship in Hungary…Also represented homeland at Junior European Championship and Mediterranean Cup in 2017…Helped Vouliagmeni Nautical Club to Greek National Cup title in 2017 and junior national titles in 2016 and 2015…Also represented Olympiacos, Ydraikos Nautical Club and Glyfada Nautical Club.
