Events
- The Georgeys – A night celebrating and reflecting all of the accomplishments our student-athletes have had throughout the year, both on and off the playing surface.
- Student-Athlete & Alumni Networking Forum – A dynamic event connecting current student-athletes with alumni and professionals to share experiences, build relationships, discuss internship opportunities, and prepare for success beyond the game.
- Welcome Back BBQ – This is the beginning of the year cookout, officially welcoming back student-athletes to campus and kicking off the new academic year.
- Women’s History Month Luncheon – This event celebrates and highlights the achievements and greatness of women through a powerful panel of female student-athletes, coaches, and staff reflecting on their journeys, aspirations, and those who have positively impacted them.
- International Student-Athlete Mixer – This mixer brings together current international student-athletes, alumni, and campus faculty & staff members to connect and share their experiences about their personal and professional journeys.
- Career Expo – The GW Career Exploration Expo is a student-led initiative that engages both undergraduate and graduate students in exploring career opportunities, networking with employers, and finding potential jobs or internships. This is a campus event in partnership with the Center for Career Services.
- Career Treks – Career Quest offers GW students an exclusive opportunity to gain an up-close and personal experience with leading organizations in major cities. The program allows students to hone their informational interviewing and networking skills with employers, learn how an organization works, hear from employers about their professional journeys, and explore and experience the culture and pulse of exciting cities!
