Bystrom sweeps boards vs. Patriots
FAIRFAX, Va. - Spencer Bystrom swept both boards, highlighted by a career-best effort on 3-meter, to lead GW diving in its season-opening meet at George Mason on Saturday.
Bystrom, a sophomore from Beachwood, Ohio, posted a 3-meter score of 296.70 to best his previous personal mark set at last February's Atlantic 10 Championships. He also took the 1-meter competition with 256.28.
Caitlin Inall paced the women vs. the Patriots, taking third on both boards with a 3-meter score of 236.48 and a 1-meter score of 222.38.
