Sophomore transfer James Bishop's career in the Buff and Blue is off to a rousing start. The Baltimore product has scored 20+ in all three games this season, including a pair of games last week when he shined at the point.
The Atlantic 10's leading assist man at 8.3 per game, Bishop tallied 16 helpers across two games last week, including a career-high tying nine on Saturday in GW's win over Coppin State. He added a career-high eight rebounds in that game for good measure.
After transferring from the SEC's LSU, the lead guard is also second in the conference in scoring after averaging 21.0 ppg in GW's 1-1 week.
