Destici totaled a team-high 10 goals, to go along with three assists and four steals, in three games last weekend at the Princeton Invitational.
Destici started the tournament by netting three goals and adding three steals in GW's 8-7 win over No. 16 California Baptist on Friday. He scored a team-high four goals in a 17-5 win over Iona before recording three goals, two assists, a steal and two ejections drawn in a 12-11 loss to No. 9 Harvard in a tightly contested rematch from last season's NCAA Tournament.
A two-time All-Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference first team selection, Destici has registered a team-high 35 points via 21 goals and 14 assists for the Colonials, who are off to a 6-1 start this season and ranked No. 18 nationally.
