Sophomore diver put together record-breaking effort Saturday vs. Howard

Nachtwey swept the diving events in GW's 161-64 win over Howard on Saturday. The sophomore from Ohio broke his own program record for 3-meter diving with a score of 387.23, smashing his previous mark of 362.63 set last fall against Boston College. He also picked up a victory on the 1-meter board with a season-best score of 298.35.
That performance against the Bison continued a strong start to the season for Nachtwey, who earned silver on both boards in his debut at the A-10 Championships last February to help the Colonials claim the team title.
