Atherley won three times Saturday as GW split a tri-meet against local foes American and Georgetown, highlighted by a Reeves Aquatic Center pool record in the 200-yard freestyle. The sophomore from the Channel Islands finished in 1:52.38, nearly four seconds clear of the field.
Atherley also claimed the 500-yard freestyle in 5:03.01 and teamed with Abigail Fusco, Hannah Kopydlowski and Lynn Zhang to win the meet-closing 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:38.45.
