Destici made an impact on both ends in helping the Colonials to a pair of Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference victories over the weekend. The sophomore from Turkey racked up two goals, five assists, five steals and a field block in Friday's 20-10 win at Johns Hopkins. On Saturday, he scored a season-high six goals in a 19-12 home victory over Wagner and also added an assist and four steals.

Destici now has a GW-best 65 points through 15 games via 28 goals and 37 assists, plus a team-high 28 steals.
