Senior Caira Washington averaged a double-double and was GW's leading scorer in both games as the Colonials went 2-0 last week with wins over Coppin State and Villanova.
On Wednesday, she went 8-for-10 from the field (.800) for 16 points and registered a career-high six blocks while pulling down nine rebounds in GW's 77-46 thrashing of Coppin State.
On Sunday at Villanova she posted her 30th career double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. She shot 7-of-12 from the field (.583) and pulled down a team-best 11 rebounds in addition to five assists, one block and one steal.
For the week she shot 68 percent from the field (15-of-22) and averaged 15.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.5 blocks, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
