Men's Rowing Out-Dueled on the Potomac

WASHINGTON, DC - The GW Men's Rowing team lost to cross-town rival Georgetown in "The Duel," a 'best-of-5' match race series on the Potomac River May 4. The crews raced from Key Bridge to Washington Harbour, a distance of a little over a half mile. George Washington's Junior Varsity Eight and Freshman Eight raced Georgetown in a 'best-of-3' series. George Washington's freshman eight defeated the Hoyas, 2-0, while the Colonials' junior varsity crew lost, 2-0.
