Fagley Earns Second Atlantic 10 Swimming Honor

Fagley won two individual events and helped win a relay title this past weekend at the Atlantic 10 Championships in Buffalo, NY. Fagley won the 200-yd (1:53.46) and 500-yd (5:00.41) freestyle events while placing second in the 200-yd backstroke (2:06.04). Fagley also combined with junior Jocelyn Finch (Olympia, WA/ Olympia), freshman Crystal Freeman (Ft. Dix, NJ/ Holy Cross) and junior Laura Najjar (Sarasota, FL/ Bradenton Christian) to win the 800-yd freestyle relay in 7:43.53. Fagley was named the Most Outstanding Rookie Performer of the Meet for her efforts.
The women’s team finished second at the Atlantic 10 Championships while the men finished third. The University of Massachusetts captured both the men’s and women’s titles.
