WASHINGTON – The Atlantic 10 has announced the 2025-26 women's basketball conference pairings, featuring an 18-game slate with nine home games and nine road games for its 14 member schools.
Highlighting GW's schedule are five schools that were selected as "home-and-away" opponents. The teams that the Revolutionaries will play both inside the Smith Center and on the road include Dayton, La Salle, Rhode Island, St. Bonaventure and crosstown foe George Mason.
GW's remaining home games will be played against Saint Louis, Loyola Chicago, Richmond and Fordham as the Revolutionaries celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Charles E. Smith Center. GW women's basketball boasts an astounding .721 winning percentage at home in program history and sits just seven victories away from 500 in Foggy Bottom.
Along with the five aforementioned road opponents, the Revolutionaries will also travel to Duquesne, Davidson, VCU and Saint Joseph's this season before taking part in the 2026 Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Championship. The tournament will be hosted at the Henrico Sports and Events Center for the third-consecutive year as the conference celebrates a three-year extension that will keep the event in central Virginia until 2029.
GW women's basketball embarks on a new era as Ganiyat Adeduntan enters her first season as head coach of the program. Coach G and her staff welcome back six returners, including 2025 A-10 All-Rookie selection Gabby Reynolds, as well as Sara Lewis and Kamari Sims, who were regulars in GW's starting lineup a year ago. The roster also features eight new faces, including five transfers and three incoming first-years.
